LTE Detach Cases

UE-Initiated Detach

- UE Power Off (Switch Off)

- Lost or Removed the ICC/UICC Card

- UE is used to non-EPS service

  For example, CS Fallback, SMS, etc… 

- Flight Mode On

NW-Initiated Detach (By MME or HSS)

- Explicit Detach (The MME sent to Detach Message to the UE)

O&M (Operation & Maintenance) by operator

Fail Re-authentication

Operator can’t support the bearer no more.

HSS is needed to change the Subscriber’s profile at MME

Illegal UE which is registered to loss or stolen UE at HSS

- Implicit Detach  (The MME does NOT send to Detach Message to the UE)

Bad quality

For example, Radio Link Failure, etc…

UE에 의해 Detach되는 요인들로는

> UE Power-Off

> USIM Card Lost 또는 제거

> non-EPS 서비스를 사용 할 때(CSFB, SMS 등)

> Flight Mode ON
같은 상황들이 있습니다.

그리고 MME에 의해 Detach되는 Case로는

> 통신 사업자의 목적에 의해

> 재인증 실패
> 이전에 사용자에게 할당했던 Bearer를 더 이상 줄 수 없을때
> 사용자 정보 변경으로 인행 MME의 profile 변경이 필요 할 때
> 도난 또는 분실 폰으로 등록이 되어 있을 때

위와 같은 Case들에서는 Detach를 위한 Message를 UE로 전달합니다.

하지만, Bad Quality로 통신 지속이 어려운 경우에는

Detach 메시지 전송없이 바로 MME에서 detach를 수행하게 됩니다.
